     I made this piece with the help of recycling metal art artist Emo Formichi in his shop, while i was studying Italian art and culture in Italy.

      The idea of this sculpture piece is to show my impression about this Italy trip. All the components are from what I saw and experienced there, including the cityscape of Florence, the Italian style architecture structure, classic Renaissance painting,etc. I combined sculptures and paintings together to create a illusion that the space and structure of the sculpture part will be continued and extended from the painting. Also, all the elements are from different time period which create a time line to allow viewers to shuttle between the ancient and modern times of Italy.
